The Postal Service is engaged in an effort towards potential relocation of the Hidenwood Station to a yet-to-be determined location. If the relocation is approved, Postal retail services would remain in the community at a different physical location within the same geographic ZIP Code area; there would be no impact on letter carrier delivery to residents and businesses, and no change to Post Office Box numbers or ZIP Codes. U.S. Postal Service representatives will present the proposal for the new relocation during the 5:00 p.m. meeting schedule for Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017. Written comments on the proposal will be accepted for 30 days following the meeting and may be submitted to: Kurtis Bullard, Real Estate Specialist |
The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
