MILAN, VA — Postal officials have temporarily suspended retail services at the Milan Post Office, located at 3800 Colley Ave.
The Postal Service is working cooperatively with the landlord to reopen the building as soon as possible.
Until service can be restored, customers can pick up their Post Office Box mail at Norfolk Main Post Office, located at 600 Church Street, Norfolk, VA 23501. Delivery service will not be impacted.
Retail hours at the Norfolk Main Post Office are open Monday – Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Closed Saturday and Sunday.
The last day for PO Box customers to retrieve mail from their current PO Box will be Saturday, Feb. 24, until 5 p.m. Any mail left inside PO Boxes will be moved to the Norfolk Main Post Office.
PO Boxes will continue to be accessible 24/7 at the temporary location. Passports are also available at this location.
Customers can call 1-800-ASK-USPS or go to the Postal Service’s Website www.usps.com to get the location of other nearby Post Offices and approved postal retail service providers.
