Postal Service temporarily closes Ivy Post Office

IVY, VA — Postal officials will temporarily close the Ivy Post Office, located at 4301 Ivy Road, due to flooding effective Friday, June 1, 2018 at 8 a.m. Mail deliveries in Ivy, VA, will continue as normal.

The Postal Service is working cooperatively with the landlord to reopen the building as soon as possible.

Customers with PO Boxes at the Ivy Post Office can pick up mail at the Crozet Post Office, located at 1210 Crozet Avenue, Crozet VA 22932. Proper identification is required.  

Retail hours at the Crozet Post Office are 9 a.m.–5 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m.-noon on Saturday.

Customers with questions or concerns can call the Crozet Post Office at 434-823-9847 or go to the Postal Service’s website, www.usps.com, for online mailing options.
