Three Charlotte County Post Offices Temporarily Closed

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, VA — Due to flooding, the U.S. Postal Service has closed the following Charlotte County Post Offices:

Drakes Branch Post Office
4871 Drakes Main St.
Drakes Branch, VA 23937

Randolph Post Office
6000 Roanoke Station Road
Randolph, VA 23962

Saxe Post Office
180 Hailey Road
Saxe, VA 23967

Mail deliveries in Charlotte County will continue in all accessible areas not experiencing flooding.  For the latest information on USPS service updates, check: https://about.usps.com/news/service-alerts/.

Customers can call 1-800-ASK-USPS (1-800-275-8777) to obtain information, including available, alternate Post Office retail locations, or check the Postal Service website: www.usps.com.    The Post Office is always open at www.usps.com.   The Postal Service’s smartphone app makes it even quicker to use the most popular functions on usps.com, anytime and anywhere.

We apologize for any inconvenience to our customers, appreciate customers’ patience and understanding, and are working to restore postal operations at these Post Offices as soon as possible.
