Vermont – Post offices around New England will be offering extended hours on Saturdays, December 9 & 16 and some offices will be open on Sundays, December 10 & 17 to offer customers more convenience.

Whether picking up a package, shipping holiday gifts, applying for a passport or purchasing packing supplies USPS wants to take some of the hectic out of your holiday chores.

The Bennington Post Office will be open until 3:30 p.m. on Saturdays, December 9 & 16 and the Colchester, Milton and Williston offices will open on Sundays, December 10 & 17 from 9-11 a.m. for customers to pick up packages.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
