SEATTLE — The U.S. Postal Service is hiring temporary employees to work during the upcoming holiday mailing season at mail processing facilities across the state.
Mailhandler and Postal Support Employee (PSE) Clerk positions are available at the following locations – Seattle Christmas Facility (near Sea-Tac Airport); Priority Mail Annex in Kent; Network Distribution Center in Federal Way, and at the processing and distribution facilities in Seattle, Everett, Tacoma, Olympia, Wenatchee, Yakima, Pasco and Spokane.
The non-career positions range in pay from $11 an hour to $14.60 an hour and there are no benefits. Number of hours worked will depend on mail volume.
There are also some temporary Tractor-Trailer Operator and Motor Vehicle Operator positions available. Applicants must have a Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License. The pay ranges between $15.52 and $15.85 an hour.

Leave “ZIP Code” and “Functional Area” blank and click on “Start.” Find a job position that you want to apply for and click “Apply.”
All applicants must be at least 18 at the time of hire (or age 16 with a high school diploma) and be a U.S. citizen or have permanent alien status.
