U.S. Postal Service Marks Super Bowl with Collectible Envelope

SEATTLE – Want something to remember the Seattle Seahawks’ second Super Bowl appearance? Seahawks fans can grab a piece of history by purchasing a limited edition collectible stamped envelope celebrating Super Bowl XLVIII.

Area Post Offices are making available a special, limited edition, commemorative envelope already postmarked and ready for framing. The licensed envelope features high quality images of Seahawks Quarterback Russell Wilson, Broncos Quarterback Peyton Manning, the Super Bowl logo, and MetLife Stadium.  The price is $10.

The Postal Service is proud to be connected with the world’s largest sporting event,” said Seattle District Manager Yul Melonson. “This highly collectible envelope celebrating our beloved Seahawks is certain to be a huge hit with our employees and our customers.”

The limited edition collectible stamped envelopes are available at the following Post Offices:

Pioneer Square, Bitterlake, Term Station, Westwood Village and Federal, all in Seattle; Lakewood, Evergreen, University Place and Proctor, all in Tacoma; Bellevue Main Post Office; Bothell Main Post Office; Everett Main Post Office; Kent Main Post Office; Twin Lakes Branch in Federal Way; Issaquah; Lynnwood Main Post Office; Marysville; Mount Vernon; Oak Harbor; Bellingham Main Post Office; Gig Harbor; Port Angeles; South Hill Office in Puyallup; Olympia Main Post Office; Aberdeen; Shelton; Centralia; Regal, Rosewood, Spokane Valley, Shadle Garland and Manito, all in Spokane; Ellensburg; Moses Lake; Grandview; Walla Walla; Richland; Pasco;, Pullman; Cheney, Veradale and Coeur d’Alene (ID).
