Mosinee WI — With the holiday mailing season officially underway, the Mosinee Post Office will be hosting “Parcel Shipping Days” at the 408 2nd Street location on Tuesday December 15th and Wednesday December 16th from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.
Did you ever want to send out a holiday package to someone special and just felt it was too difficult or confusing to do? Well, now you can learn how to ship and save with the Postal Service.
Postmaster John Sondelski and his staff will be available inside the lobby to answer questions on the proper way to mail packages this holiday season.
“Whether it’s a package to Aunt May in Brookfield, WI, or Jimmy in Anchorage, Alaska, the best packaging and pricing advice will be shared with our customers,” said Postmaster John Sondelski. “We want to make this holiday season stress free for our customers by showing them how easy and efficient it is to ship with the Postal Service.”
Sondelski will offer live www.usps.com demonstrations about online postage labels, advice on how to save 20 percent on shipping costs, and talk about the variety of holiday greeting cards, and Forever stamps available during December. Customers are encouraged to bring their packages to the event.
The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
