USPS Supports Small Business Week with Grow Your Business Day Event

What:

The United States Postal Service (USPS) and the Small Business Administration (SBA) will host a Grow Your Business Day event where small business owners can learn how to strengthen their business by utilizing postal products and services to innovate and grow their business with direct mail and shipping solutions.

Conducted at the Milwaukee Main Post Office, the event is free and open to the public. Business owners are encouraged to stop in to meet Postal Service small business development representatives along with SBA resource partners who counsel and mentor small businesses.

Background:

2016 Small Business week, takes place May 2 through May 6th. In support of this annual event the USPS is hosting over one-thousand events across the country.

At local Post Offices attendees will learn how to innovate and grow their business with USPS tools and applications created specifically with small business owners in mind.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
