MINNESOTA & WESTERN WISCONSIN — The United States Postal Service is hiring over 400 seasonal employees throughout Minnesota and Western Wisconsin with wages of $17 an hour and up.

Seasonal employees will work November 24 through January 4, including Saturday, Sunday and Holidays.

We also have over 500 future career positions including benefits available such as City Carrier Assistants, Rural Carrier Associates, and Postal Support Employee Mail Processing Clerks.

The Postal Service takes great pride in meeting the holiday delivery expectations of our customers, but we need to fill the following jobs:

SEASONAL:

  • 92 Casual Mail Handler positions ($18 per hour)
  • 160 Holiday Clerk Assistant positions ($17.19 per hour)
  • No exam required
  • Will work November 24th through January 4th

FUTURE CAREER:

  • 200+ City Carrier Assistant – ($16.78 per hour) plus health benefits and accrual of vacation time
  • 150+ Rural Carrier Associate – ($17.78 per hour) plus health benefits
  • 75+ Assistant Rural Carrier – ($17.78 per hour) no benefits – doesn’t lead to career works Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays only
  • 150+ Postal Support Employee Mail Processing Clerk – ($17.19 per hour) plus health benefits, 6 paid Holidays and accrual of vacation time (falls under seasonal, but leads to future career)

CAREER:

  • Part Time Flexible Tractor Trailer Operator – ($21.94 per hour) full benefits
  • Full Time Automotive Technician – ($43,880) full benefits

Basic requirements:

  • Applicants must be 18 years of age, or 16 years of age with a high school diploma.
  • All applicants must be able to pass drug screening and a criminal background investigation. Some positions require an exam.
  • Any position that has a driving requirement will also require a valid driver’s license and a clean two year driving history.
  • Citizenship or permanent resident status is required.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
