IAEGER, WV — The town of Iaeger WV will be celebrating their 100th Anniversary on Aug 1-.5, 2017. In conjunction with the event, the Iaeger, WV PO will have a Customer Appreciation Day on Aug. 5, 2017. The Post Office will have a temporary station downtown on that day and customers will be able to obtain the special 100 years Celebration Station pictorial cancellation pictured above. This pictorial cancellation will also be available for 30 days following the event by contacting the Postmaster of Iaeger, WV 24844.
Philatelists may write Postmaster, Iaeger, WV 24844, within 30 days of August 5, 2017 and request to have your stamp cancelled with the “100 years” postmark. All requests to the POSTMASTER must include a stamped envelope or postcard bearing at least the minimum First-Class Mail postage - and should be addressed to yourself. There is no charge for this service.
