WESTON, WV — Extensive reconstruction work of the dock and loading area, at the Weston Post Office located at 119 Center Avenue, has begun.  This necessary work will enhance safety for larger trucks and delivery vehicles which frequent the Post Office.

The  public is reminded during the work, extensive grading of the property will be undertaken as well as, the removal of two existing retaining walls. The scope of this large project will require the closing of the customer parking lot until completion.

Post Office lobby signage is in place notifying customers of the parking lot inaccessibility. We appreciate our customers’ patience during this necessary modification work. We apologize to customers for any inconvenience reconstruction work, and subsequent parking lot closing, causes our customers. Additionally, the exterior collection box has been replaced for our customers’ stamped mail.

Customers requiring additional information may contact the Weston Post Office at (304) 269-1475.

The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses, and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations.
