2-43.10 Contract Files for Simplified Purchases

Contract files for simplified purchases must include the following:

• If applicable, review and approval of the simplified purchasing method (see Section 2-43.3, Use, for more information).
• Approved requisition for the purchase.
• Solicitation or written documentation of an oral solicitation, including the basis of award, the role of price, and any evaluation factors used in addition to past performance and supplier capability.
• Proposal or written documentation of oral proposals.
• Simplified purchasing template.
• Award and unsuccessful offeror notifications.
• Required reviews and approvals (see Section 2-41, Obtain Selected Reviews and Approvals, for more information).
