“Designated counties” are those countries that have entered into World Trade Organization Government Procurement Agreements (WTO GPA), and Fair Trade Agreements with the U.S. The following are WTO GPA and FTA countries:
- WTO GPA countries – Armenia, Aruba, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea (Republic of), Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan (known in the WTO as “the Separate Customs Territory of Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen and Matsu (Chinese Taipei)”), Ukraine, and United Kingdom; construction materials and end products granted duty-free entry - Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Bonaire, British Virgin Islands, Curacao, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, Montserrat, Netherlands Antilles, Saba, St. Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Saint Eustatius, Saint Maarten, and Trinidad and Tobago.
- FTA countries - Australia, Bahrain, Canada, Chile, Columbia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Israel, Korea (Republic of), Mexico, Morocco, Nicaragua, Oman, Panama, Peru and Singapore.
