Jacksonville, FL —The Postal Service is in active recovery mode, following Hurricane Irma. We are proud to announce that we are delivering mail and providing services in almost all Post Offices in portions of northern Florida, wherever it is safe to do so. We continually assess our facilities to ensure they are safe to occupy. For any Post Office still unable to be occupied, customers can get information on delivery and retail services by visiting www.usps.com and clicking the “Service Alert” bar at the top. As conditions improve, we will update this site accordingly.
All Post Offices/Stations/Branches/Finance Units in Gulf Atlantic North Florida have resumed normal operations, with the exception of the office listed below.
- Orange Park Mall (Finance Unit), 1910 Wells Rd, Orange Park FL 32073
- Services being offered at alternate location
- Orange Park, 1335 Kingsley Ave, Orange Park FL 32073-9998
As recovery continues, updated information will be posted to the USPS Service Alerts website accessed through http://about.usps.com/news/service-alerts/welcome.htm. The Postal Service receives no tax dollars for operating expenses and relies on the sale of postage, products and services to fund its operations
