OPERATIONS REMINDER

Use of International Mail Customs Declaration Forms

Our international facilities are experiencing difficulties scanning the barcode printed on the new customs declaration PS Form 2976-A, Customs Declaration and Dispatch Note - CP 72, when the form is placed incorrectly inside PS Form 2976-E, Customs Declaration Envelope - CP 91 (clear plastic envelope).

Consequently, all PS Forms 2976-E with an edition date prior to January 2004 must be discarded/recycled. Only the January 2004 edition of this form may be used because it is large enough to hold the most recent edition (January 2004) of PS Form 2976-A.
