GLOBAL EXPRESS GUARANTEED SERVICE Updated List of GXG Retail LocationsStarting on page 6 is a complete, updated ZIP CodeTM list of retail locations - a total of 8,237 locations - where Global Express Guaranteed® (GXGTM) service is available to customers. This list of new GXG retail locations shows all offices that accept GXG effective June 23, 2005. Use this list in place of the GXG retail site list published in Postal Bulletin 22140 (10-28-04). (The Postal ServiceTM may change the status of sites based on area and district identification of customer demand and potential growth of expedited international shipping.) During the week of June 13, 2005 (prior to the official start date of June 23, 2005), all new GXG locations received from the Postal Service Expedited Package Supply Center (EPSC) a GXG shipping supplies kit that included the following items: • One copy of Publication 141, Global Express Guaranteed Service Guide, Volume 10. Although this guide was scheduled to be destroyed on June 10, 2005, continue to use it until further notification. • 25 copies of Air Waybill/Shipping Labels. • 15 cardboard GXG packages. • 15 Tyvek® GXG packages. • 15 plastic GXG shipping pouches (to hold Air Waybills). • 50 copies of GXG lobby brochures (PUB GXG UF). • 3 copies of GXG employee information guides (PUB GXG RUF). • 25 copies of Tag 141, Priority Mail - Global Express Guaranteed. |
GXG retail locations are to display GXG shipping supplies in the retail lobby with the other Postal Service product shipping supplies. GXG retail units may reorder supplies from the EPSC as follows: • On the Web, go to http://supplies.usps.gov; under "Browse Store" and "Shipping Supplies," click on Global Delivery Services. • By fax, call 800-270-6233. • By telephone, call 800-610-8734. GXG retail locations may order copies of PS Form 6182, Global Express Guaranteed Commercial Invoice, from the Material Distribution Center (MDC) and use touch tone order entry (TTOE): Call 800-332-0317, option 2.
