F-66 REVISION
General Investment Policies and Procedures
We have revised Handbook F-66, General
Investment Policies and Procedures, with improved performance metrics,
a more clearly defined risk analysis process, and a new program compliance
status reporting procedure. This procedure incorporates specific data
elements associated with the following:
• Status of costs.
• Benefits.
• Shedules.
• Risk for investments that require
a Decision Analysis Report (DAR).
The November 2005 edition replaces
the February 2002 version. We will not distribute printed copies.

We are in the process of revising the
other modules in the F-66 series - F-66A, F-66B, F-66C, and F-66D. We
will also publish a new module, F-66E, which establishes the investment
policies and procedures for postal support and information systems projects.
We will announce the availability of these additional modules on the Postal
Service Intranet in future Postal Bulletin articles.
