Headquarters will fund updated fan scale overlays for
mechanical scales that are still being used at Post
OfficesTM. The rate changes planned for January 2006
drive the need to update these lobby scales with the new
rates. The overlays for the models listed here are supported for this rate case based on field requests and the order volume from the June 2000 rate case.
The fan scale overlays are not ready to be shipped at
this time. Orders can be placed and the overlays will be
shipped as they are received. Until the updated overlay is
received, these scales must be taken out of service when
the new rates are implemented on January 8, 2006.
Employees may requisition items as follows:
• Use touch tone order entry by calling 800-332-0317,
option 2.
• Submit PS Form 7380, MDC Supply Requisition, to
the Material Distribution Center.
PS Form 7380 is available on the Postal ServiceTM
PolicyNet Web site:

• Under "Essential Links" in the left-hand column, click
on References.
• Under "References" in the right-hand column, under
