Address. Here you will find:

• Answers to the most commonly asked questions
about permanent and temporary forwarding of mail.
• Accurate address verification with the National
Address Management Database to verify that your
new address is correct.
To guarantee that the change of address is authentic,
customers who want to change their address online pay
$1.00 using a credit card issued in the name of the mover.
Customers who don't have Internet access can change
their address using the Mover's Guide, available at a local
Post OfficeTM, or they can use the Telephone Change-of-Address service by calling 800-ASK-USPS (800-275-8777).
The Postal Service wants to do everything possible to
provide efficient, uninterrupted mail service when you
move, so make sure you change your address at least
30 days in advance of your move.
