NOTICE

Stamp Stock Items Withdrawn From Regular Sale and From Sale at Philatelic Centers

Effective close of business September 30, 2006, all Post Offices™, stations, branches, postal stores, vending outlets, and authorized philatelic centers must withdraw the stamp stock items and products listed below and their related vending and store-prepared stamp items from sale and prepare them for destruction. Submit items to destruction sites according to local established procedures, under the guidelines in Handbook F-1, Post Office Accounting Procedures, subchapter 45, Destroying Stamp Stock.

Do not permit sales of the stamp stock items, products, and their related vending and store-prepared stamp items listed below at retail counters and outlets after September 30, 2006, unless otherwise instructed. Items listed are also withdrawn from sale at Stamp Fulfillment Services (SFS).

State Quarters and Greetings from America Products Recalled From Regular Sale and From Sale at Philatelic Centers

Effective close of business September 8, 2006, all Post Offices™, stations, branches, postal stores, and authorized philatelic centers must withdraw the products listed here from sale and prepare them for return to their Stamp Distribution Office (SDO) or Stamp Services Center (SSC). Endorse the cartons ("Returned Products") and submit them by Registered Mail™ service. Submit the cartons prior to September 29, 2006.

The State Quarters and Greetings from America products will be held in the SDOs' and SSCs' accountability until October 20, 2006. At that time, the products will be forwarded to Stamp Fulfillment Services (SFS) for remaining sales.

Absolutely no sales of the products listed below are permitted at retail counters and outlets after September 8. However, the stated items listed will remain on sale at SFS.
