DMM REVISION
Periodicals Publications Mailed by the General Public
Section 707.11.5 of the Mailing Standards of the United
States Postal Service, Domestic Mail Manual (DMM), authorizes the general public to mail copies of Periodicals publications at the applicable single-piece First-Class Mail,
Priority Mail, or Package Services rate. As a clarification,
we are adding similar standards to the Retail and Discount
sections of the DMM for Bound Printed Matter and Parcel
Post items. Our clarification is effective October 12, 2006.
