Revised Segmented Inventory Accountability Sales Calculation for POS Sites

Effective October 12, 2006, the calculation of Segmented Inventory Accountability (SIA) sales for POS sites is revised as follows:

Subtract the following account identifier codes (AICs) from AIC 852, Total Sales:

• AIC 096, Vending Equipment Postage Sales.

• AIC 095, Stamps on Consignment Replenishment Sales.

• AIC 094, Stamps by Mail, Internet, and Phone.

• AIC 086, Precancelled Stamps.

The formula is as follows:

SIA Sales = AIC 852 - 096 - 095 - 094 - 086
