Lady Liberty and U.S. Flag Stamp.

The Postal Service™ will issue a 39-cent definitive stamp, Lady Liberty and U.S. Flag, on November 8, 2006, in Washington, DC. This stamp is now available in a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) folded vending book of 20 format (Item 675000).

For philatelic customers, the new vending book format is immediately available from Stamp Fulfillment Services. The new vending book will be available at Post Offices™ that have appropriate self-service vending machines as they deplete their local inventories of the nondenominated Lady Liberty and U.S. Flag vending book (Item 674300).

How to Order First Day of Issue Postmark

Customers have 90 days to obtain the first day of issue postmark by mail. They may purchase new stamps by telephone at 800-STAMP-24. They should affix the stamps to envelopes of their choice, address the envelopes (to themselves or others), and place them in a larger envelope addressed to:

After applying the first day of issue postmark, the Postal Service will return the envelopes through the mail. There is no charge for the postmark. All orders must be postmarked by January 7, 2006.
