Millions of customers have discovered they can "skip the trip" to the Post OfficeTM by going to USPS.com® to buy postage, look up a ZIP CodeTM, track a package, and more. But millions more still don't know how Quick, Easy, ConvenientTM it is to do business with us online.

March 12-16, the Postal ServiceTM will host USPS.com Week in Post Offices across the country to reach out to customers and let them know they can buy postage and supplies, ship and track packages, and manage their mail, all with just a few clicks online at our award-winning Web site, www.usps.com.

This publicity kit equips postmasters to promote the easy-to-use tools of USPS.com to their communities. Tailor the USPS.com Week activities to meet the needs of your customers: publicize and host lobby demonstrations, place information in local newspapers, make presentations at civic or business gatherings, call on key business mailers to show them how to use the Web site, or all of the above. Review this kit, go to www.usps.com to get familiar with the Web site, and then get ready for USPS.com Week.

Postmasters can now order supplies such as USPS.com Tip Sheets and "Take-Ones" from the Business Connect Data Center. You can obtain additional supplies - such as invitations, as well as USPS.com Tip Sheets (see page 17) and "Take-Ones" (see pages 12-13) - for future events held after the week of March 12th through MessageMaker. If you do not have access to MessageMaker, contact your district marketing manager or small business specialist for assistance. If you missed the opportunity to order invitations in time for an event March 12-16, don't worry. Simply set up a demonstration in your lobby and educate your customers. Don't forget to document your activity in Business Connect.
