Effective April 1, 2007, Electronic Money Order Voucher Entry System (eMOVES) and Small Post Office Reporting Tool (SPORT) offices must use revised PS Form 1412, Daily Financial Report, dated March 2007. The March 2007 edition of this form replaces the February 2005 edition. All previous editions of PS Form 1412 are obsolete and must be discarded.
Post Offices™ and retail postal units with POS ONE or integrated retail terminal (IRT) equipment will continue to use the system-generated form. In the event of power outages or POS ONE or IRT system failures, the office must use PS Form 1412 as part of its contingency plan for manual operations.
The changes to PS Form 1412 are as follows:
- Changed account identifier code (AIC) descriptions.
- Deleted AIC 089.
- Added the following AICs: 007, 011, 012, 097, 231, 299, 650, 699, 843, 844, 849, and 850.
- Changed the calculation for AIC 852.
Upon the arrival of the new version PS Form 1412, the Material Distribution Center (MDC) will destroy or recycle all previous editions of PS Form 1412 and use the March 2007 edition.
