Policy Change in Payment for Lodging at the William F. Bolger Center for Leadership Development

Effective immediately, the William F. Bolger Center for Leadership Development is issuing the following policy changes:

• When you attend training or other functions at the Center, you may not claim lodging and board charges on your travel voucher or charge these expenses to your corporate credit card.
• Lodging, board, and any additional expenses (approved in advance at the local level through an eBuy or PS Form 1782, Training Request and Autho­rization) will be charged directly to your finance num­ber using the Journal Entry Vehicle (JEV).
• You may use cash or a personal credit card to cover incidental charges (and the sales tax that is charged for these expenses).

With these changes, you will not have to present a PS Form 1782 or PS Form 1101, Travel Advance Request and Itinerary Schedule, for payment authorization when you check in.

This notice rescinds “Use of American Express Cards at Center for Leadership Development,” Postal Bulletin 21930 (10-10-96, page 53) and all other previously issued policies regarding payment procedures at the William F. Bolger Center for Leadership Development.
