Prepare yourselves, True Believers! A slew of your favorite Marvel Super Heroes are on their way to save the day. The Postal Service’s pane of 20 stamps honoring some of the world’s most popular comic book heroes go on sale July 26.
Got a thing for The Thing? He’s there. Caught in Spider-Man’s web? You’re not alone. And joining them are Captain America, Elektra, Iron Man, Silver Surfer, Spider-Woman, Sub-Mariner, The Incredible Hulk and Wolverine.
The sheet of 20 stamps features 10 single-image stamps showcasing each hero as he or she appears today and 10 stamps based on cover art from their earlier days. The works of Jack Kirby, John Buscema, Frank Miller and John Romita are just a few of the renowned artists featured on these stamps.
