Effective May 1, 2008, the Postal Service™ has revised its Equal Employment Opportunity Policy Statement (see page 51). In accordance with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission’s (EEOC’s) Management Directive 715 (MD 715), the policy will be updated annually and prominently posted in all personnel offices, in EEO offices, and on the agency’s internal Web site. This policy reaffirms the Postal Service’s commitment to equality of opportunity in every aspect of employment.
