New Purchase Cards Will Be Issued Starting October 18

The Postal Service™ has awarded a task order under the GSA SmartPay 2 program to the incumbent bank provider, U.S. Bank. This task order will be in effect for up to 10 years beginning November 30, 2008. The purchase card will continue to be a VISA-brand card and will be easy to differentiate from current cards with its new design and colors (see below).

Employees who currently serve as cardholders under the Postal Service’s GSA SmartPay Purchase Card Pro­gram should expect to receive their new cards between October 18 and November 7, 2008.
