A pictorial postmark training course has been developed for postmasters and retail associates planning to participate in the pictorial postmark program. This training was created to help ensure consistent national execution of postmark services.
The online version of the pictorial postmark training is available on Blue (Intranet) at http://blue.usps.gov/pac/uspstv/vodlist.htm in four convenient modules; under “USPS Training”, under “Pictorial Postmarks Training”, click Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, or Part 4. The course number is 42202-06.
A training DVD is also available for employees without computer access. The DVD, Pictorial Postmark Program, is an on-catalog eBuy item that can be ordered from the print-on-demand (POD) catalog. You can also order it from the Material Distribution Center (MDC) via the touch-tone order entry (TTOE) system by calling 800-273-1509.
