Cleanwise LLC, one of our custodial products’ suppliers, has offered a 1 percent rebate for all orders $2,000 or more. All postal facilities can participate in this program beginning July 1, 2009, through December 31, 2009. If participation is high, Cleanwise has agreed to negotiate the extension of this program after December 31. The purpose of this program is to consolidate orders placed with Cleanwise, which will reduce order processing time as well as Postal Service™ transaction costs associated with processing multiple eBuy or eMARS orders.
n Evaluate your ordering process: Do you place one order for all your custodial products requirements on a regularly scheduled basis (efficient), or do you place an order every time you run out of products (inefficient)?
n Evaluate your overall spending: How often do your orders for custodial products exceed $2,000, and how can you plan your orders to take advantage of the 1 percent rebate?
n Evaluate your employee resources: How many persons within your facility order custodial products using the same FEDSTRIP number, thereby minimizing your ability to hit the magic number of $2,000?
Once you begin placing your consolidated orders of $2,000 or over with Cleanwise, you can apply for your rebate by accessing the online rebate form. Log onto www.cleanwise.com, use your FEDSTRIP number as the user name (any letters must be capitalized), and use your nine-digit ZIP™ Code (without the dash) for the password. Click on the Account Management tab, select survey, and fill in the required information (FEDSTRIP number, eBuy purchase order number, date of order, and dollar amount of order), then watch your Monthly Billing Summary Report for your credit. These incentive rebates will be processed quarterly.
