IMM Revision: Peru — Service Update for Express Mail International

Effective January 4, 2010, the Postal Service™ is revis­ing Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, International Mail Manual (IMM®) to reflect that Express Mail International® service to Peru is now provided to all areas.

The postal administration of Peru recently informed the Postal Service that Express Mail Service (EMS®) is now available to all destinations in Peru. Consequently, in the IMM’s Individual Country Listing for Peru, in the Express Mail International section, under “Areas Served,” we now indicate “All” (previously, we listed only 20 specific areas).

We will incorporate this revision into the next printed version of the IMM and into the monthly update of the online IMM, which is available via Postal Explorer® at http://pe.usps.com.
