IMM Revision: Global Express Guaranteed Service — the Republic of Kosovo and San Marino

Effective April 5, 2010, the Postal Service™ is revising Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, International Mail Manual (IMM®) to reflect the following:

n When sending Global Express Guaranteed® (GXG®) shipments to the Republic of Kosovo, mailers must refer to the country listing for the Republic of Serbia (“Serbia”) in Publication 141, Global Express Guaranteed® Service Guide, to determine conditions and available city destinations.

n When sending GXG shipments to San Marino, mailers must refer to the country listing for Italy in Publication 141 to determine conditions and available city destinations.

This update is to align the IMM and Publication 141 in order to ensure that the correct routing, timing, and service are applied to GXG mailpieces to these destinations.
