The Semi-Annual Capital Property Review that started on August 2, 2010, was to be completed by August 18, 2010. During the first week of August, the Materials, Cus­tomer Service, Topeka, KS, sent out via e-mail the Semi-Annual Capital Property Certification Reports.

If you are a Headquarters’ manager or installation head, and you have not completed the Semi-Annual Capital Prop­erty Certification Reports, then please do so immediately.

Why am I required to complete the Semi-Annual Capital Property Review?

The Semi-Annual Capital Property Reviews are a Sar­banes-Oxley requirement. A list of activities that received the Semi-Annual Capital Property Certification Report, but did not submit the report to an Asset Accountability Service Cen­ter (AASC) on time, will be provided to senior management.

Headquarters’ managers and installation heads, contact your supporting AASC if you need the Semi-Annual Capital Property Certification Report resent or require assistance. The AASCs can provide guidance and training on how to complete the capital property review and how and where to send the completed reports.
