DMM Revision: Alternative Addressing Format Options

Effective September 7, 2010, the Postal Service™ will revise the Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, Domestic Mail Manual (DMM®) 507.1.4.1 and 602.3.1.2 to permit the use of certificates of mailing, Con­firm® service, Delivery Confirmation™, and special han­dling extra services when using an alternative address format.
