Effective June 6, 2011, the Postal Service™ will revise Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, Domestic Mail Manual (DMM®) 509.1.7, and Notice 123, Price List, to remove the POSTNET™ Barcode Certification Program, which is no longer in use.
In January 2011 the Postal Service added information about the Address Management Services to the Notice 123, Price List. Inadvertently, the POSTNET Barcode Certification Program was included although it has not been offered since 2008. Therefore, we will be removing all references to the POSTNET Barcode Certification Program from the DMM and Notice 123.
