In late July, 2011, participating Post Office™ locations will receive a shipment of three new philatelic products to display and sell during Quarter 4, FY 11, along with other philatelic products already on display. Upon receipt, all offices must assign these products as part of their Retail Floor Stock in POS ONE so that the Inventory Replenishment System (IRS) can detect and monitor products as they are sold. Failure to do so will trigger unwanted product replenishment.
The Standard Operating Procedures for philatelic product acceptance are posted on the Customer Services Operations and Retail website on Blue at http://blue.usps.gov/customerservicesoperationsandretail/
