Employee Assistance Program Publications Revised

The Postal Service™ Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a free, voluntary, and confidential program that offers assessment, referral, short-term counseling, and work/life consultation to Postal Service employees and their families.

Effective immediately, the following EAP publications have been revised:

n Publication 518, Supervisor’s Guide: Employee Assistance Program, August 2011. This guide pro­vides managers and supervisors with an overview of how to access and use the services available from the EAP.

n Publication 519, Employee Assistance Program (EAP): Information and Services, August 2011. This guide provides an overview of the EAP services avail­able to Postal Service employees and their families.

All previous editions of these publications are obsolete and should be destroyed or recycled.
