On September 14, 2012, in Washington, DC, the Postal Service™ will issue a Four Flags First-Class Mail® stamp (Forever® priced at 45 cents) in four designs in a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) automated teller machine (ATM) sheetlet of 18 stamps (Item 577400).
The stamps will go on sale September 14, 2012.
The stamps were previously issued as:
n PSA Booklet of 20, 2/22/12 (Item 688100).
n PSA Coil of 100, 2/22/12 (Item 788700).
n PSA Booklet of 10, 6/1/12 (Item 688300).
The distribution of this stamp issue will be limited to Stamp Fulfillment Services (SFS). Since there is sufficient national inventory of the Lady Liberty & US Flag ATM sheetlet, Item 575700, at the stamp distribution offices (SDOs) and stamp distribution centers (SDCs), there will not be any distribution of the Four Flags ATM sheetlet stamp to the field. SDOs and SDCs will continue to ship existing supplies of Item 575700 to Post Offices.
SDOs/SDCs will not make any distribution of this stamp issue to Post Offices. Post Offices (APC units) that require additional supplies of ATM sheetlets should continue to order Item 575700, Lady Liberty & US Flag. Post Offices that have customers wanting Item 577400, Four Flags ATM, should direct them to Stamp Fulfillment Services.
Customers have 60 days to obtain the first-day-of-issue postmark by mail. They may purchase new stamps at their local Post Office™, at The Postal Store® website at www.usps.com/shop, or by calling 800-STAMP-24. They should affix the stamps to envelopes of their choice, address the envelopes (to themselves or others), and place them in a larger envelope addressed to:
