Effective January 27, 2013, as part of the Mailing and Shipping Services price change, the following product and extra services names are changed:
n “Standard Post” is the new name for Parcel Post as it moves to the competitive product list.
n “USPS Tracking” replaces Delivery Confirmation (pending Postal Regulatory Commission (PRC) approval as filed in Docket Number MC2013-28 available at www.prc.gov) to better reflect scanning capabilities.
Also in conjunction with the price change, please note:
n “Package Pickup” is used instead of Carrier Pickup in all references to provide consistency for both internal and external audiences.
We will update publications, manuals, forms, etc., to reflect these changes.
