IMM Revision: Mail Preparation for IPA and ISAL

Effective May 6, 2013, the Postal Service™ will revise Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, International Mail Manual (IMM®) sections 292.46, 292.47, 293.46, and 293.47 to refer to “foreign office of exchange” (rather than “destination office of exchange”) for International Priority Airmail™ (IPA®) and International Surface Air Lift® (ISAL®) service. In addition, for clarity, we are revising the sack labeling instructions for full-service ISAL sacks prepared for Canada.
