USPS Headquarters Managers, Field Installation Heads, and Material Accountability Officers: Disposal of USPS-Owned Equipment

Before disposing of Postal-owned equipment, PS Form 969, Material Recycling and Disposal, must be completed by the Material Accountability Officer (MAO) and approved by the appropriate managers. Instructions for completing the form are on the back of PS Form 969. As needed, contact the Asset Accountability Service Center (AASC) in your Area for guidance and training on proper disposal procedures.
