IMM Revision: Indemnity Claim Form

The article titled “IMM Revision: Changes to the International Inquiry Center and the Indemnity Claim Form” in Postal Bulletin 22386 (4-3-14, pages 14-16) replaced references of PS Form 1000, Domestic Claim (formerly titled Domestic or International Claim), with references to PS Form 2855, International Claim for Indemnity. (PS Form 2855 reflects the separation of processes for filing indemnity and insurance claims for domestic and international services.)

However, in that article and in the edition of Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, International Mail Manual (IMM®) that was published on May 5, 2014, and in the edition that will be published on June 2, 2014, we neglected to note and revise two other references to the claim form in Exhibit 922.2. We are including that revised text in this article.
