Open Season, the period of time every year when you get to evaluate and change your health benefits, is coming soon, and this year, we’re going green. What this means is that you will have 24/7, on-demand access to health, dental, and vision benefits information online at LiteBlue. This transition is part of an effort to align Open Season with the USPS® sustainability commitment.
By evaluating your benefits and comparing your plan to others, you will have the information you need to make new selections that may save you money and/or better complement any recent changes in your life. Now that we’re going green, you will be able to download the following guides to help you make your decisions as you evaluate your options. These guides will be available on LiteBlue by early November:
n 2015 Guide to Benefits for Career United States Postal Service Employees (RI 70-2).
n 2015 Guide to Benefits for Certain Temporary (Noncareer) United States Postal Service Employees
(RI 70-8PS).
n 2015 Guide to the Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program (FEDVIP BK-1).
n 2015 Guide to USPS Non-career Employee Health Benefits Plan (NCEHP BK1).
Additional FEHB and FEDVIP resources (checklists, FastFacts, FAQs, a health plan comparison tool link, etc.) will be available on LiteBlue to assist employees in making wise health care decisions. If you prefer to receive a paper copy of one or more of the guides, you can request to have them mailed to you.
