USPS Headquarters Managers, Field Installation Heads, and Material Accountability Officers (MAOs): Announcing the New MAO Course

A new course for Material Accountability Officers (MAOs) is now available on the Learning Management Sys­tem (LMS) training website. To find the course on the LMS website, enter the course number “10023576” or search on “MAO”. The course provides basic instructions on how to track, transfer, and dispose of equipment and includes guidance on completing a Semi-Annual Capital Property Review and the associated forms.

Additionally, the MAO Guidebook is available on the AASC website to assist management and MAOs with a quick reference to the correct forms and procedures to maintain accountability of assets.
