Effective May 1, 2015, the Postal Service™ revised Publication 108, Threat Assessment Team Guide, which sets forth requirements and guidelines to enhance the effectiveness of threat assessment teams and ensure consistency throughout the Postal Service. The May 2015 edition supersedes the June 2011 edition. Recycle or destroy all previous editions.
These revisions update the overall structure of Threat Assessment Teams (TAT) which includes changing the composition and make up of team members, establishing a Headquarters and Area level TAT, and updating TAT training requirements for its Core, Ad-Hoc, and Situational Advisor team members. The proposed changes also incorporate information about the Workplace Environment Tracking System, which is an online program used for collecting and recording data relating to the workplace environment process.
