Did you get a chance to change to the new Self Plus One enrollment type this Open Season? If not, you have the opportunity to switch from the Self and Family enrollment type to Self Plus One during a special enrollment period from February 1–29, 11:59 p.m. ET. Self Plus One covers you and one eligible dependent, which can include a spouse, a child under the age of 26, or a child age 26 or over who is incapable of self-support.
The special enrollment period only applies for employees enrolled in Self and Family plans. Employees currently enrolled in Self Only must experience a Qualifying Life Event (QLE) or wait until the next Open Season period in order to change to Self Plus One.
To change your enrollment type, enter your new selection through:
n PostalEASE (from the Open Season page),
n An Employee Self-Service Kiosk (available at some facilities),
n Blue at http:⁄⁄blue.usps.gov⁄wps⁄portal, or
n By calling the Employee Service Line at
