A new “CAUTION HEAVY” label supports ongoing Postal Service™ efforts to reduce lifting injuries and to provide employees and customers with a visual alert to ensure heavy packages are lifted carefully.
Sales and Service Associates (SSAs) should affix the new label to packages weighing 35 lbs. and over. SSAs should also follow the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for packages that meet this weight criterion.

The 3" x 2" label became available on June 1 in rolls of 1,000 on The Postal Store® website at https:⁄⁄store.usps.com⁄store⁄ (Label 035CH) and on eBuy2 at http:⁄⁄ebuy2.usps.gov⁄ (SKU #LAB035CH).
