In preparation for the Fiscal Year 2016 closeout, there will be a freeze period from September 19, 2016, to October 21, 2016, for all six-digit FNCM requests and General Ledger Account (GLA)⁄Account Identifier Code (AIC) changes. Requests for six-digit finance numbers and GLA updates can be submitted, but will not be implemented until after the freeze period.
Requests will need to be submitted by the following dates to be effective prior to the freeze period:
n For six-digit finance numbers:
n Discontinued finance numbers must be submitted no later than Friday, August 26. The first effective date after the freeze period will be November 1.
n New finance numbers, name changes, and realignments must be submitted no later than Monday, September 12. The first effective date after the freeze period will be October 29.
n For General Ledger Account⁄Account Identifier Code Changes:
n Requests for a new GLA⁄AIC must be submitted no later than Friday, August 26. The first effective date after the freeze period will be November 1.
During the freeze, 10-digit finance number requests will continue to be processed. For exceptions, please send an email to the FNCM FSB email address. Each request will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
